Storytelling Week

To celebrate Storytelling Week we thought about our favourite characters and created key rings. Our Year 4 Reading Buddies  also came to read their favourite stories. 📚 📕 

Winter

In Science, we have been looking at Seasons. We explored our school surroundings to see signs of winter. We could see lots of signs, including snow! ❄️ ⛄️ 

Fun in the Forest

Freestanding Structures

This half-term we have been looking at freestanding structures. We focused on bridges and even made and tested our own. We used a variety of different materials, and even used our bodies to make bridges during a PE lesson. 

Christmas Concert 2023 

We had great fun performing our Christmas Concert for our grown-ups! We performed a Grinch medley complete with our very own Cindy Lou Who, Whoville Villagers, Max the dog and, of course, the grumpy Grinch himself! 🎄

Staying Healthy - November 2023

During this half-term we have been learning all about staying healthy. We have looked at the importance of washing our hands and cleaning our teeth. We also looked at what constitutes a healthy diet and even made our own fruit smoothies 🍉 🍎 🍌  

Poetry Week - October 2023

We had great fun during Poetry Week! We had a visit from author Ali Harwood, shared our favourite poems with our friends in other classes and even performed and wrote our own poems.
